my second project: parola
A simple, lightweight way to keep Italian in my day.
This is my second project. Once again, I wanted to build something easy and simple.
I’m learning Italian, but I was getting a little tired of Duolingo (lol). I wanted something I could easily open in my browser, check every day, and learn from in less than a minute.
That’s how Parola came to be. It’s a very simple, lightweight, browser-based app that gives you one Italian word a day, with its pronunciation, meaning, and an example sentence.
No long lessons and no pressure to keep going. Just one word, every day. It’s a small project, but that’s exactly the point: I built the thing I wanted to use myself.
